The BBC has a write-up about Israel’s weird gender-apartheid bus system that operates on 30 public routes. So, we’ve ruled out that it’s the “only democracy” in the Middle East, and that it’s the “only U.S. ally.” Now we are getting to see some of the stories about how unequal the place can be not only on ethnic grounds, but in matters of gender, so we can soon dispell some of those myths as well. Time for some Kaballah mystic to channel Rosa Parks. — Link
One View: “This really is about positive discrimination, in women’s favour.
