Ugh. The Palestine Times three-month trial period has more of a chance in convincing its management that letting your content go free is a better business decision than it does of encouraging anyone to subscribe to it. Ouside of the Wall Street Journal there are few online news publications that can get away with subsriber fees. The Palestine Times is a decent online version of the print edition and a very in-depth English-language, mainstream look at all aspects of Palestinian socieity from politics to occupation to arts and culture and business.
The P-Times is well worth checking out to get a more well-rounded view and from a Palestinian perspective. Too bad they haven’t decided to let it run free for good. After the three-month period, most English reading people will just return to getting thier news about the reagion from Haaretz and Al Jazeera seeing all their ads instead. — Link
