Dear Andrew:As a courtesy to our members in the region, we’re forwarding you this notice about a groundbreaking Middle East peace conference on April 22-23 in Olympia, WA. PeaceWorks is the first annual conference of the Rachel Corrie Foundation for Peace and Justice and will feature an absolutely stunning line-up of speakers including Mahatma Gandhi’s grandson Arun Gandhi, Haaretz reporter Amira Hass, International Solidarity Movement founder Huwaida Arraf, 2005 Palestinian presidential candidate Dr. Mustafa Barghouthi and JVP co-director Liat Weingart.
