While most the files the ACLU have managed to get from the Feds has to do with agents trying to break the growing Vegan Menace, it’s interesting what wasn’t released, namely documents about spying on the antiwar movement and the increasing amount of spying on Arab Americans. One document turns up in the ACLU’s Freedom of Information Act request: The FBI recorded the names of attendees at a conference of the American-Arab Anti-Discrimination Committee. There’s bound to be more.
