So this is where I call home while in Ramallah. It’s the upper half where yo ucan see the star going fomr the sidewalk. boasts great views of the valley, army roads leading to Ofer Military Base, some humungo settlement and much Ramallah’s craggily skyline and a sort of unofficial garbage dump a few feet away which occasionally is on fire. It’s about four blocks from the town center and maybe 15 minutes walk form work at the ISMedia office.
Share the place with about four other people now, most of whom are moving on, though. Lauren, Huwaida and Lisa are working for the cause, Jacob does something that has to do with NGOs and children. This week, though, Lauren and I are losing our housemates, so it’s time to post some fliers at the co-op, I guess, though it’s a pretty rough commute from West Oly.
